This update contains the latest firmware for CS121


The CS12x_upd.exe runs on the following operating systems:
Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98 with a JAVA runtime after V 1.4.
This update tool does not run under Windows 95 !


OPTIONS for a CS121 FIRMWARE UPDATE:

UPDATE ONLY: The UPDATE ONLY is a FTP filetransfer and updates 
just your actual Firmware OS to the latest version. This works 
at all adapters with a valid IP adresse in the network. 
In such cases the update can be started immediately after
a PING is successfull. All your previous settings will be saved.

If this update does not work or stops for any reason, you have 
to use FORMAT & REWRITE. 

FORMAT & REWRITE: The FORMAT & REWRITE does a format on the CS121 
flashdisk and transfers a new OS and new software modules (eg. 
JAVAMON and other modules provide by the manufacturer) to your 
CS121. This will reset your CS121 to the default settings and 
you have to use TELNET an reenter your configuration.

We recommend to do a FORMAT & REWRITE on the CS121 default 
adress 10.10.10.10. Only CS121 with OS version after V 1.60 should 
be flashed while running on its normal network adress.

HISTORY of Changes:

You can find a list of firmware changes on the GENEREX webserver
at www.generex.de/download . 
We recommend to update all CS121 to this firmware level 
before V 1.86. 



Information:

To identify CS121 adapters in your network you may use the MAC adress.
Every CS121 starts with 00-03-05-02-XX-XX where XX-XX is a serialnumber.
You can see the adapters MAC adress in the Menue 1.
